Impressions from Parents about Shari Rusch Furnstahl and her Presentations
Responses included “fabulous”, ”very inspirational”, “excellent”, ”a valuable experience”, “wonderful”. For parents, your presentation provided a window on the world of their children’s experience, the heartache, the confusion, the joy. Teachers and other professional had the opportunity to understand the impact of caring for one “hard to reach child.” Those who worked so hard and wondered if they made a difference in a young life, appreciated hearing a thank you.

As the Director of Services for the Winfield R-IV School District, I am challenged to find a messenger to communicate with every student, parent, and educator in the district to the effect that: “Every student has the ability to learn no matter what the level of learning ability.” I found that messenger in Shari Rusch. Shari shares her story of overcoming personal adversity with energy and emotion through her presentation and song. She clearly defines the triumph of the human spirit through the powerful effect of love and the impact of her educational experiences.
